I'm kinda new to supras, meaning I don't know that much about them yet. The reason I joined was to learn more about these cars so I could stop being a supra newb. Quick warning, I'm only 16 but I take car of my car and don't drive it like a maniac (who would want to risk destroying their sexy car?). Anyhow, onto the cars.

82 P-type and 82 L-type
The P-type is the sky blue and L-type is maroon. I mainly drive the blue one while my brother drives the maroon. The L-type was purchased about a year and a half ago from a relative in New Mexico, and I was given the P-type from my father who acquired it from California during the summer of last year.

Here are pictures of both, and then interior and engine of the P-type.
Enjoy!

well currently I'm trying to find the cause of an electrical issue that causes the lights to dim and audio cuts out. Originally the cluster and taillights went out, so I got the relays replaced for those but the problem is still there. And then we replaced the alt since it was bad but still is messed up. My guess right now is probably wiring so I gotta find a way to look at that.

Wow, how did I miss this thread?!?!

Welcome aboard! Very nice to see 2 great looking specimens there!

Double & triple-check all of the grounds on the car. There are a few inside the cabin and a few under the hood.

Thanks for the helpful info but after charging the battery one last time with the new alternator, everything looks good. At least for now.
