Well, you want it to be more white than black. The picture you posted looks like it was running just about perfect. Maybe just a hair of the lean side, but not by a whole lot. A nice rust colored red with just a hint of white would be spot on, visually.

It never ceases to amaze me that all the 7M's head gaskets always blow between 5 & 6, they say EGR has something to do with it.

Yup i've heard and seen the same things. Second time it's happened in the cylinders for me..

This time 100% my fault because i over heated the shit out of my motor.

Do a MHG!

And white means perfect burn.

Fuel additives have a lot to do with it
