Hi all. My apologies for my 0 post count, as I seem to have lost my old screenname somehow,

At any rate, Clint told me to hop on over and see if any of you would be interested in participating in a calendar for 2012? This would be aimed at having all (if not, then most) of the Supra generations, mk1-mk4.

Some upfront info: this calendar is for profit, not for cancer research or website donations. I am sorry if this seems crude, but my cafepress store has always been my extra source of income that has helped me pay my bills when my regular job fails me.

You will not receive any '"royalties" from your picture contribution, but you will have your name and car's year on your picture for credit.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:

PICTURES MUST BE OVER 2500 PIXELS IN SIZE. NO EXCEPTIONS. please do not send me a picture you took with your phone or something you posted to cardomain 9 years ago, 640 pixel pictures will NOT fit on an 11" wide calendar page!

Classy pictures are a must. I don't expect you to go out and take professional grade pictures, but please use common sense. This is a calendar, not your own personal photo album. No one wants to see your car parked in front of a dumpster at work, or in your driveway or a parking lot with a ton of other cars.

MAIN FOCUS: is your car. YOURS. One car in the picture, that's it. Please no group photos!

Please send your pictures ALONG WITH your name and year of car to thesupragoddess@aol.com

Please note that there is space enough on the sides of the car so that it won't be clipped off at the edges.

TIPS:

Dont be afraid to take several pictures of several different angles to send to me.

Lighting. The best time to take pictures is early morning or late afternoon. Harsh, midday sunshine, especially in Arizona will be way too harsh and overexposed. If you're going for night shots, please use a tripod or something to hold the camera steady so that it's not blurry.

I'll shoot over some pictures when I get back into town Tanya, also for everyone's information this calendar will be AZsupra's specific.

That means 12 members from this forum will be featured unless you have some kick ass group pictures if Tanya will be willing to work with those.

Also if your car is down that doesn't mean you cannot submit, if you have older pictures of your car that meets Tanya's requirements them send them off.

I hope you didn't mind me butting in Tanya :p

No problem Clint!

Hopefully, this will get going and we can have at least 3 generations of Supra represented, cover will say "Supras of Arizona"

Please let other Supra owners know about this, if they do not browse the forums. Kinda need to rush this along as holiday sale season is right around the corner.

Well;. As of right now we have ONE contributor. ONE. This is looking very bad, considering I only have 9 days to do this (before I return to Florida and have no access to internet/photoshp)

What about what Albert said? 2 supras in a garage on stands. "life of a supra" or whatever. That's all I got unless you want an engine pic or bay/side shot on stands

I have a great shot of mine on a lookout near Hoover Dam. But the problem is that they are 1280x960 shots. :(

Is there a way to increase the pixel count without messing up the pictures???

Here's the pic...

If you can find a way to make it work, then by all means, use it! :)

No garage pics please, I don't think that's really calendar material although Im sure some people wouldn't mind, I think most would.

Dustion, that's nice... any more like that?

As far as pixels, there's no way I can enlarge a 1280px picture to 2700 without it distorting and looking awful. :(
